I’m Maria the mommy of the Jones family. I’m a wife to my spectacular husband Ryan. We’ve been married a little over two years, but have been together for 11. We met the first day of freshmen year of college. He was the handsome southern gentlemen who helped me move in, and the rest is history!
I’m the mommy of three babies, one human- Miss. Emma Marie and two furry- Mufasa and Sarabi. Before we welcomed Emma into the world on June 8th we spoiled our two Miniature Schnauzers!
I’m a new found Christian. I praise the Lord daily for all the blessings he has given me and am thankful for his grace and mercy.
I’m becoming a strong advocate for Cystic Fibrosis. Our precious daughter Emma was diagnosed on September 9th, 2015. Our world was turned upside down with the news, but my husband and I have made a pact to stay strong and be as positively proactive as possible!
Before becoming a stay at home mom I was a Kindergarten teacher for 5 years! My passion in life is working with little kiddos. Their minds are like sponges and want to soak in every bit of knowledge- and I love being the one who gets to teach them. I know I will eventually head back into the classroom but for now I am blessed to stay home with our little Emma.
I ADORE all things crafty, I like to consider myself a mini Martha Stewart. When I’m not cuddling with my family you can find me exploring Pinterest. I love everything shabby chic, I’m in love with the colors turquoise, coral and white. I feel like I was born to live in the south, I dream of the charming southern life daily.
I’m a very passionate foodie! I would never win the award for Top Chef, but I can tell you I would get an A+ for effort. I’m not a full on vegetarian, but I was the child who would be stuck at the dinner table until I finished eating all my meat, veggies were the first thing to be eaten on my plate!
I have been a type 1 diabetic for 19 years. After almost dying at the age of 8 I was diagnosed. I am a proud Medtronic insulin pump user. I take my diabetes seriously and work hard for my 5.2 A1C.
