The whole Jones crew was thrilled to have Auntie Amanda come visit for a week. She was in town to watch her cousin graduate from the Air Force Academy, but we got to steal her for a few nights in between. This lady has been through many hardships and joyous moments with me and I am forever grateful for her friendship. Just like me, Amanda is a person who considers her friends to be like family. Whenever we are together I know we will be constantly laughing! She is the sister I always dreamt of! I feel so blessed to have such a joyous person in my life.
Now onto the visit! The first day we had Amanda with us we decided to go on an adventure and eat some middle eastern cuisine in Manitou Springs. Ryan found a little hidden gem called Heart of Jerusalem Cafe, let me tell you…we were SO FULL…with AMAZING food! If you ever go and visit Manitou this charming little cafe is a MUST!
